Masato Japanese Restaurant

Worst place I have ever eaten from. Horrible service, our waitress was the most incompetent I’ve ever had the displeasure of being served by. Had to wait 30 minutes until we decided to wait at the counter for our check. Had to ask repeatedly for our rolls and togo boxes. Sub par food, my boyfriend payed $15 for a small portion of lobster.

I have been dining at Masato since it opened. Not much has changed since then. The food is sill good, yet it's the same menu. It's one of those places that stand out if you have a craving for particular menu items, however, not so much if you are feeling like something new. The layout of the place leaves more to be desired, take for instance the server's station, which feels as if when it was delivered, the movers sat it down in the middle of the lobby and left it there. The decor is non-existent, and if brought in blind-folded, you would never guess it's a Japanese restaurant. All that said, you still cannot argue the quality of the food, and perhaps it's that consistency that has kept them in business. I recommend the teriyaki chicken bowl and Masato rolls (spring rolls).
